25 Best Apps That Make You Money

WANT TO EARN EXTRA MONEY?

Sometimes, we need a little extra money in our life. Okay, in fact, extra funds are always appreciated.

While your regular day job is helping cover the bills, there are a few ways to earn additional money that you can use for whatever.

Maybe this will help cover that vacation you’ve been wanting. Or maybe you simply need a new pair of shoes or jeans. Whatever you need, making more money is the first step.

I like to use several different apps as a way to make more money. You can choose from receipt scanning apps or cashback apps or even investment apps. There are a lot of options available.

This list of the 25 best apps that make you money is guaranteed to find you a way to earn some extra cash quickly.

1. Ibotta

  • Registration Bonus: $10 after scanning first receipt
  • Join Ibotta

Ibotta is one of my favorite receipt scanning apps. It is probably the most popular of its kind too.

With Ibotta all you have to do is shop as normal and then scan your receipt. In fact, with some of their retailers, you don’t even need to scan a receipt.

If your favorite grocery store has a rewards card, you might be able to link your account directly with Ibotta. That way, when you make a purchase, Ibotta can track it directly.

Now you don’t have to worry about forgetting to scan your receipt in time. Though remember not every store will have this option.

And sometimes the system gets a bit funky and you may need to scan a few receipts until any bugs are fixed.

Take advantage of Ibotta today by signing up and earning a $10 bonus. From there you only need $10 more before you can cash out to your PayPal or for a gift card.

2. Pinecone Research

I will never miss an opportunity to gush about Pinecone Research. There’s a reason that it is my favorite survey app.

I find their surveys to be interesting and I love that with each survey completed, I am guaranteed to earn 300 points or $3. The length of the survey doesn’t matter.

Another thing I love about Pinecone is their consistency. I know I will get at least one survey a week. This means I can earn $12 in a single month from doing pretty much nothing.

Another perk about Pinecone Research is that there is no minimum requirement to cash out. Earn 300 points ($3) from a single survey and you can redeem your cash as soon as it clears your account.

3. Fluz Cash Back

  • Registration Bonus: Get up to 35% cashback on your first 3 purchases
  • Join Fluz

Fluz is a network based rewards app that lets you earn cashback from different retailers. When you join Fluz you can link a debit or credit card.

Once linked, you can start selecting offers from different merchants in order to earn cashback.

What makes Fluz unique is their global cashback network. When you have friends join, you can earn cashback based off of their purchases. And even from purchases their referred friends make.

You need to earn a minimum of $26 ro cash out to your PayPal account or you have the option to receive your earnings as cryptocurrency.

4. Shopkick

I like how simple Shopkick makes earning cash. Basically, every time you shop or complete certain tasks, you earn kicks.

You can earn kicks by walking in stores, scanning receipts, scanning barcodes of select products, watching videos and a lot of other different ways. It really is as easy as it sounds.

Once you have enough kicks, you can redeem for a gift card. The lowest gift card available costs around 500 kicks. Most rewards are 250 kicks per dollar.

With very little effort, you could find yourself redeeming a gift card once or twice a week.

5. Pei

  • Registration Bonus: use promo xfaytz upon sign-up get a $5 bonus when linking your first card
  • Join Pei

What I like about Pei is that you have the option to earn Bitcoin or cash. Like many cashback apps, Pei works but letting you earn cash when you link your credit or debit card.

From there you just need to make qualifying purchases at any of their affiliated retailers. You could earn as much as 20% cashback.

The best part about Pei is that it’s not limited to just popular stores, but the app works on a local level. You could earn cashback at your favorite brewery or non-chain restaurant.

Each Pei point is worth $.01. And you need 1500 points or $15 before you can cash out your reward.

6. Fetch Rewards

Similar to Ibotta, Fetch Rewards is a receipt scanning app, except Fetch Rewards only accepts scanned grocery receipts.

With Fetch Rewards you earn points with every receipt that you scan. So even if you only buy a carton of milk, you can earn a little something.

I like that you aren’t bound to a specific grocery store with Fetch Rewards. Every grocery receipt counts.

Another great thing about Fetch is their low payout threshold. You only need to reach $3 to cash out, versus the $20 required by Ibotta.

7. TopCashback

TopCashback is a cash back app that pays you when you shop. They definitely have a lot of other cashback apps beat because of their high percentage of cash back options.

Plus, TopCashback doesn’t have a minimum payout, so you can collect your cash whenever you get it. Payout options include PayPal, direct deposit, and gift cards.

The only downside to not having a minimum is that it does take a few days before your cashback earnings show up as cleared in your account.

Technically Triaba isn’t an app, but it does have surveys available through OpinionApp. This app lets you take a limitless amount of surveys.
